Opening a shop at Monkley Ghyll has been our goal since we first moved here, and now after several years of planning, building work and despite numerous set backs, we are finally opening our bricks and mortar shop in the former stone granary building at Monkley Ghyll Farm. The shop is another way for us to reach our goals of living self sustainably. The sheep we raise produce the wool to make some of the yarns you will find available to purchase. The food we grow will be available as produce, preserves, jams and as fresh food to buy. Our delicious, home-baked cakes are made from our freshly-laid free range eggs and there will be regularly changing seasonal delights to try.
We sell a full range of Susan Crawford yarns, books, patterns, kits and merchandise, which can also be purchased from Susan’s online shop.
In addition to our own titles, we will be selling a range of carefully chosen magazines and books as well as cards and gifts.
Surplus plants will also be available and we are proud stockists of the range of Dalefoot Wool Composts.
